If someone were to look at your house at night and your TV was on they would see light emitting from your room. The Fake TV emits the same light a real television would. When you think about how your TV works, through the screen you see distant images, but the light that it casts in the room is a uniform glow that changes with the changing images on the screen.

FakeTV uses a built-in computer to control the bright LEDs to produce light of varying intensity and color that light up a room just like a real television would. The light effects of real television programming: screen changes, fades, flicker, on screen motion and much more are all simulated with the Fake TV.

The Fake TV is constantly shifting among more and less dynamic periods, more vivid and more monochromatic, and brighter and darker scenes. The FakeTV never repeats and the lights are completely unpredictable on how they will perform next. So from outside the house, it looks like someone is watching a real television. The would be home invader will think twice if he thinks someone is home watching TV so he/she will move on to a more vulnerable target.

Fake TV is simple to use, just put it into a room so that you can see the light from the Fake TV outside, but also remember to set the unit where it is not visible from outside the home too. Plug the Fake TV into the wall using the adapter included with the unit. The built-in light sensor will turn the FakeTV on every night at dusk. With the built in timer you will never need an external timer.
